Products and Use

  • Fermentation probes are often long, top heavy, and expensive to replace. Yet most labs rely on improvised storage solutions that can compromise the longevity of the probes. Spartan Forge LabWare products provide stable, safe storage designed specifically for fermentation probes.

  • We offer currently offer two holder sizes. One is sized for probes around 200 - 225 mm and the shorter version is designed for probes around 120 - 160 mm.

  • Probes are stored vertically and secured in a recessed seat to ensure delicate sensor tips do not rest on the bench. A stabilizing plate is added to ensure vertical alignment of probes and unique side cut design allows for quick access to probes when needed.

  • Yes, these racks can be modified to fit a variety of probe lengths and configurations. Please contact us and we would be happy to work together to create a solution for your lab.

Durability and Support

  • All products are manufactured from PETG, a durable and moderately chemical resistant plastic that is commonly used for lab supplies.

  • Yes, PETG offers good chemical resistant to acid and base solutions as well as common lab disinfectants.

    Where PETG will fail is prolonged exposure to strong acids and bases and will not tolerate autoclave temperatures without degradation.

  • Yes, all products include a one-year replacement guarantee for defects or functional issues under normal use.

  • Yes. The holders are designed with wide base plates and probe storage to be centralized in the holder. Holders are very stable when fully or partially loaded.

    Optionally, for particularly top heavy probes, a more secure stabilization plate can be requested to ensure vertical alignment.

  • Please allow 1-2 weeks of processing time before shipment as all items are made to order. In the event of large orders or increased overall demand, we may reach out to notify if there will be a delay in your shipment.
